ReplyDeleteMy favorite Halloween memory was when I was 10 years old. My Uncle Tommy was a weight lifter and he dressed up as the Hulk for Halloween. He went running through the streets of NYC with only a ripped up pair of jean shorts, green paint on his body and hair. He looked JUST like the Hulk! I never really got into Halloween, but now that we have kids it seems like the whole month of October is spent doing things season related from the pumpkin patch to trick-or-treating at fun places

ReplyDeleteI miss trick or treating as a kid- we had a lady down the street that we called "Aunt Marie" and she used to have a special treat for my sisters and I that she didnt give the other trick or treaters!! One year we got 2 candy apples each, miss those days!

My favorite Halloween memory was my daughter's 2nd Halloween. I made her a princess Leia costume from an old sheet and crocheted the wig with the 'buns'. People stopped us as we were walking to tell me how cute she looked. She got so much attention that night. We even had a little Darth Vader (and his mom)follow us for awhile.

My favorite Halloween Memory was just last year.. our daughter who was 1 at the time, won our towns Halloween Costume Contest!! She was a little, adorable witch! She wore a scary tutu, with bat wings, a witch hat with tons of feathers, a boa, and orange and black striped leggings.. she was to cute!

ReplyDeleteMy halloween memory that I will remember forever because it scared the crap out of me is when I was about 7 I went to a neighbors door said trick or treat and they came to the door dressed like freddy kreuger he had the whole costume face paint including creepy music playing in the background lets just say I skipped that house for a while.

ReplyDeletei halloween memory i was about 5 and we had a huge blizzard and my mom still tried to take us trick or treating i was a pumpkin made out of one of those orange lawn bags for leafs and it was stuffed with news paper. we could hardly walk in the snow and my stuffing kept falling out, the next day we were snowed in, just sat at home and ate candy!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is my friends and I changing our "costumes" about 3 or 4 times just to hit up the good houses when we were in middle school. I enjoy Halloween so much more now that I have children. I think the children are so cute in their costumes and love how excited they get.

ReplyDeleteWe are diggin the infant sock monkey or infant bat costume. they are too cute! as for my favorite memory I would say that our familys annual Halloween party would be it. So much fun and we have a haunted house every year, uncles and cousins and what not design a new one each year also. We have a cake walk and a raffle and fun games for the kiddos. My family has been doing it for 50 40 something years and I can now enjoy it with my bunch, great memories!

As for my favorite memory I would have to say that it would be our annual halloween party that my family has been doing for the past 40 years or so. We have a new haunted house every year, and a cake walk, costume contest, and lots of games for the kiddos. Now my own kids are making the same great memories I did when I was a kid. LOVE IT!

Last year we have a very rainy day for treat or trick, but we keep on going even though my son is soaking wet for that. But his smile makes it all worth

My granddaughter was a white tiger. I did not get to see her in person but I got to see a picture of her and she was so cute. Her nose and mouth were colored and she had whiskers.
