ReplyDeleteWe read a lot. And then I use google to try and find new and exciting things to do each day. :) Of course my son is only a year old...so we can't get super creative yet. But the other day we played with pots and pans. =)

ReplyDeleteHi Kangaroo mama, I like to put out some spices and different items while cooking for my daughter to choose! So when We make cupcakes she has a choice if she wants to add any spices such as ginger or cinnaman or pumpkin pie spice when making spice cookies. This keeps her creative when tasting and deciding and seeing how everything comes together!

ReplyDeleteWe have rolling storage carts that have markers, colored pencils, crayons, colored paper, foam letters-shapes-numbers and other crafts to help keep their minds active. Plus we are big believers in books to keep imaginations going.

ReplyDeleteMy twins have lots of blank notepads and markers/crayons. They use them to draw and write stories. I also have a box of dressup stuff that I pick up at yard sales and thrift shops (right after halloween is a great time.)
