The GeoSafari® Vega 360 Telescope comes in a nice, bright purple box. It is well packed and all the pieces were in perfect shape when received. So you can rest easy, knowing it will arrive in good condition.
Then came the fun of putting it together. I'm actually pretty good putting things together and it only took about 15 minutes.
However, figuring out HOW to use the telescope was not so easy for me. Remember, I'm good at putting things together, not figuring out how to use them. LOL. Actually, there is a really good instruction booklet that comes with the telescope. It gives step-by-step instructions for using the telescope in different scenarios.
View craters on the moon - Explore nature close upWould I recommend the GeoSafari® Vega 360 Telescope? Definitely! I think it is a great beginner telescope for that special child in your life. Follow on Facebook and Pinterest.
- 360 mm refractor telescope for land and sky exploration
- Aluminum optical tube and compact aluminum tripod with easy-to-use mount
- All-glass eyepieces and an image-erecting eyepiece for magnification range of 20x to 80x
- Lightweight and portable
- Comes with two interchangeable eyepieces and an image erector for viewing terrestrial subjects.
- Grades 3 and up
Think you might need some help figuring out how to use the telescope? You can always do what I did and let your "kids" help you.
Here's a couple of picture of my special helper.
