With the start of the fall semester rapidly approaching for my son and thousands of other college students I thought now would be a good time to share a great way to save money with my readers, renting college textbooks. For any incoming freshman and their parents who are unaware textbooks at the college book store can be very costly. My son's first semester it was over $700. for books! That's where Campus Book Rentals comes in. You can rent the textbooks you need and save a ton of money.
You simply go to the Campus Book Rentals website, search for the books you need and put them in your cart and check out. Campus Book Rentals offers free shipping both ways (an advantage over buying your books from say Amazon or E-Bay). They have been around since 2007 and have a solid reputation. When the semester is over you just box up your books, print out the label in your account, and send your books back.
Aside from saving money when you rent from Campus Book Rentals you are helping children in need of medical care. For every book you rent from Campus Book Rentals they donate to Operation Smile, a great children's charity that provides medical care for children with cleft palates and facial deformities. It makes renting your textbooks from Campus Book Rentals a win-win situation, you save money and you help children around the world at the same time!

Wanna see how much money you can save? Check out the price of the Calculus textbook my son used his first semester HERE and when you land on the Campus Book Rentals page click on the words "You can buy this book from Amazon" to see what it costs on Amazon. Okay if you didn't click I'll tell you, the book is $57. for the semester from Campus Book Rentals and it costs $187.95 from Amazon (not including shipping). That's a savings of $130.95 on one book! I checked out the Campus Book Rentals Facebook page HERE and saw some great feedback from satisfied customers. And every Friday Campus Book Rentals has a giveaway on their Facebook page, go check it out HERE So if you are headed to college or have a college student click on this link http://campusbookrentals.extole.com/a/clk/4y0BqL and sign up! Oh Girl I know, when my husband was getting his Masters, we spent a LOT on books.. Wish we could've got all of our money back :) Great review.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great service for any student!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a good idea for anyone who has to buy books for college! College books are so exspensive, and college students are on a limited income, so anything that can be done to help them out is a good thing. To rent books is so good and cost effective! Every college student needs to look into this!
