The Imusa panini press received a 4.7 out of 5 stars rating on Amazon.com. Features of this great kitchen appliance include: "Make delicious Panini or Cuban Sandwiches in minutes with the IMUSA Sandwich Press. The unique flat surface provide toasting your favorite sandwich or panini to perfection. The nonstick surface is easy to clean. It can also be used for toasting bread or your favorite baguette. The stylish chrome design is ideal for your counter top and easily stores."
I found this panini press to be so much more than a sandwich maker! In addition to making grilled cheese sandwiches and panini's I also use it to toast garlic bread in a flash and make french toast. Some of the features that make this panini press unique are the safety latch to use while heating the press, the spring loaded weights that automatically adjust the pressure needed for your sandwich and the easy wipe clean surfaces with gorgeous stainless steel finish. The thing that makes the Imusa panini press different from any other press on the market is the flat cooking surfaces, most panini presses have grooves in them. I also discovered I can make 4 grilled cheese sandwiches at a time because the Imusa panini press has a nice large surface.

In addition to using my Imusa panini press to make sandwiches, garlic bread, and french toast I have been experimenting with some recipes. Here is a great recipe for chicken and mango panini that my whole family loves:
Chicken and Mango Panini
1/2 loaf Italian bread (8, 1/2 inch slices)
8 slices mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup whole basil leaves
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
1 large mango, peeled, pitted and sliced thin
2 cooked chicken breast (about 1 lb total) sliced thin
Layer half of the cheese on 4 slices of bread; divide basil, red onion, mango, chicken and remaining cheese among bread slices. Top with second slice of bread. Heat panini press & spray lightly with cooking spray. Place 2 sandwiches in press and cook until brown, about 4 minutes. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
This is a very affordable ($59.99) and easy to use appliance with many possible uses. I recommend one for any home.
