Miss Jackie's Super Secret Chocolate Chip Cookies
These chocolate chip cookies are foolproof, they turn out soft every time due to the secret ingredient (peanut butter). I usually make a double batch because they disappear fast at my house! A couple of tips: 1. Make sure your baking/cookie sheets are clean 2. DO NOT use butter in lieu of the margarine. 3. Use margarine with at least 60% vegetable oil, I use Land O' Lakes Margarine Sticks. 4. Soften the margarine at room temperature ahead of time.
Super Secret Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cream two sticks of softened margarine and one cup of JIF peanut butter. Add one cup of granulated (white) sugar, one cup of brown sugar, two eggs, four tablespoons of milk and two teaspoons of vanilla and beat until mixed.
Add 3 1/2 cups of flour, one teaspoon of salt, and two teaspoons of baking soda and mix well. Stir in 12 oz bag of Nestle Toll House Semi Sweet Morsels.
Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Cool for two minutes and transfer to wire rack.
