Beauty Box 5 Review

Monthly subscription services are becoming very popular and I had the opportunity to review a new one, Beauty Box 5. For $12. a month you receive a box of 4 or 5 samples of popular beauty products. It's a great idea, you can try a new product out without paying full price and maybe finding you don't like the product or it doesn't suit you.

Check out all the goodies I got in my box in the picture above! Here is a list of each product I found inside my box along with my opinions:

Blinc eyeliner - A water resistant, non smudge  easy to remove eyeliner. This product is pretty cool, the eyeliner really does stay on and it slides off when you remove it. For the longest time I didn't wear eyeliner because it always ran by the end of the day so I was glad to try Blinc. And it really does remove easily, no smeary mess all over your face. Retails for $26.

The All Natural Face Mineral Eyeshadow - I received the Fairy Dust color, a purple.  Vegan and mineral cosmetics are very popular right now. I tried the eyeshadow and it is a nice product but not for me, I prefer cream eye shadows. Retails for $3.50

Blum Naturals Oil Absorbing Facial Tissues - There was a 50 pack of these oil absorbing sheets in the box. They are designed to keep shiny skin at bay with their no powder formula. I have very dry skin so I do not need or use oil absorbing tissues. I gave them to my niece who has oily skin and she loved them, found them very handy for mid-afternoon so based on her opinion I would recommend them. Retails for $2.99

Everyday Minerals Girl Friday Blush - A mineral based blush in a powder form. I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I normally use cream blushes because of my skin type (dry) I find that powder blushes usually look dry and unnatural on my skin. However I was pleasantly surprised when I tried Girl Friday Blush, it looked smooth on my skin and blended well. I plan on purchasing some of this great blush in other colors. Retails for $10.99

Comodynes Easy Peeling Towelettes - 8 pack. Double duty towelettes that deep clean pores, eliminate dead skin cells and leave skin soft and renewed. I have a lot of skin damage and really found Comodynes to be a great product. After application my skin really did look renewed! Retails for $12.99

Beauty Box 5 is really fun and offers some great products, you can't beat $12. a month. And with college starting again in a month why not send one of these fun products to a girl you know who is attending/starting college?  You can follow Beauty Box 5 on FACEBOOK to enter some great giveaways and find out about new products.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary box from Beauty Box 5 to facilitate my review. My opinions remain  my own.
