Handmade Bags by Hollywood designer Sadie Hayes

Savvy Bags is an Etsy shop offering a line of tote bags, handbags, wine bags, jewelry bags and pouches, wheelchair bags, grocery bags, lint pick up pads and hats. The craftsmanship of these bags is impeccable with even stitching, sturdy material and unique patterns.

What makes Savvy Bags really stand out is the story behind them. Each bag is designed by an 85 year old lady named Sadie Hayes. Look at the picture abov of her with Cher, she is a very beautiful lady indeed.  Sadie is a a long time designer many stars in Hollywood including Sonny & Cher, Tina Turner, Bob Barker, and she has done a lot of work for Disneyland. Sadie is pictured above with Cher in 1966 for a feature article in Ebony magazine.  Go HERE to see Sadie's listing in the Internet Movie Data Base. Savvy Bags is a family run business, Sadie designs and sews the bags, her daughter makes the jewelry pouches and her great granddaughter La Niecia sells the bags. Three generations work together to make this great little business a success!
