I have been so blessed in the past year with good health, a wonderful family, and a blog that has become very successful thanks to my great followers! Sadly I don't recall a memorable birthday memory :( They were all your basic birthday cake and gifts, few family and friends at your home. But nothing extremely memorable. When I was at work during the weekends, the three of them stripped wire, collected and cleaned scrap metal, etc. They collected enough money to buy and prepare a special dinner for me, they brought a beautiful cake, flowers and a nice silver necklace. I was so touched and surprised. Honestly, all the effort they put into making my birthday special meant so much to me.

This doesn't sound like it would be my favorite, but definately, my most rememberable! My birthday falls three days before my wedding anniversary. On that year, I was trying to pack up some things to move into our new house, fell and sprained both ankles! I was on crutches (and pain killers) for my wedding! It was awful, but could also be my favorite, cause I married my best friend three days later!

My mom was able to get out of bed and actually eat cake and enjoy the party. They brought me to "Discovery Zone" - a place for kids with tubes and stuff to climb. I. was. so. happy! Haha! =) My best gift ever though, was a beautiful black lab puppy (for christmas). She was alive 15 years, and I loved her. Now I celebrate my sons birthdays, this year he will be 3. I hope he has many birthday memories that last a lifetime. =)

Best birthday/birthday present ever actually happened the day before my birthday 10 years ago, my boyfriend, now husband, came home from where I thought was Christmas shopping, I was sick at home, and he came in unexpectedly with flowers and a bag from a local store, he told me to open it, the bag felt heavy, he had it weighted down, inside was a box, not just any box but when I opened it was my beautiful engagement ring, he asked me to marry him, I said yes!!! best birthday ever ;)

And my dad and step mom threw me a small party with them, my baby brother, my boyfriend and my 3 boys.
