Blu Apple Produce Saver

Name of product: Blu Apple

Price of product: $9.95 for a two apple kit (six month supply)

Where to purchase: Major retailers and online HERE

Description of Product: "Using the BluApple, you can extend the useful storage life of your produce up to three times longer. Government experts have estimated a typical family of four throws away as much as $600 worth of spoiled produce each year. Ethylene gas is given off naturally by fruits and vegetables as a signaling mechanism in order to coordinate uniform ripening. However, once concentrated in your refrigerator or other storage areas, the presence of ethylene gas continues to speed up ripening and hasten spoilage."

Review of Product: The Blu Apple is a helpful item that every home should have. I tried it for the last month and it really does work! I placed a Blu Apple in my refrigerator produce drawer and noticed two weeks later that my apples and lettuce were still fresh. This product works on scientific principles which I am not very good at explaining so please go to the Blu Apple website HERE to learn more about this handy household item! As the Blu Apple website points out this product will save you money. Produce is one of the most expensive items on my grocery list and it is great to have an item that prolongs the life of my produce. Go to the Blu Apple website and order a set for only $9.95 today!

Disclosure: I received samples of the aforementioned product for review purposes. However I only recommend products that I would  personally use and my opinions remain my own.

Blu Apple has generously agreed to give three readers of Miss Jackie's Views a set of Blu Apple to try. Entry is easy in the Rafflecopter form below.

  6. I learned Ethylene gas is a harmless odorless, colorless, gas that is produced from both natural and man-made sources, and that has a profound effect on the freshness of produce.

  13. Learned it keeps produce fresh for 3x longer. We have lots of fresh product in our house and freeze it when it gets close to going bad, but this would allow us to keep it fresh longer. Love this idea!
